At the end of 2008 Wired gathered up their favorite videos from the year and posted “Top 10 Amazing Animal Videos” at Wired Science. The world was changed, or at least I was. In one place I watched animals that were funny, sweet, beautiful, and downright creepy. It was, indeed, amazing. I fell in love with the hippo and the ninja cat. I cringed at the giraffes, balked at the octopus, giggled at the polar bears, and actually cried while watching “Battle at Kruger.” By the way, you can get updates on Jessica the Hippo at her own Animal Planet page.
At the bottom of the list of their top ten animal videos Wired Science mentioned that readers should let them know if they missed any truly jaw-dropping videos of animals from 2008. 
Readers took them up on it and commented with so many more awesome animal videos that Wired posted a second collection and called it “Top 10 Incredible Animal Videos.” And again, I was changed. This time, though it was the creepiest owl (and owls are pretty creepy), dolphins with a really cool trick, gibbons who gave me a smirk, and the most awesome hampster ever. Ever. Because he’s on a piano. Eating popcorn on a piano. Can you do that? Okay, you can, but you can’t do it as cute.
Also, this was in the second batch of videos and it always makes me giggle.
